I needed to take some time with this album review because as you may know I cover a lot of Drake and personally he is one of my favorite artists. I had been highly anticipating Take Care for months and was hoping for something to top Thank Me Later. Luckily enough the world (and myself) was given one of the more innovative albums in a long time. This is the Drake everyone went crazy over after So Far Gone. This is a sound many artists cannot do. This is a project that Drake put so much effort, emotion, and time into perfecting each and every song. I’m obviously biased toward Drizzy, but did the best I could to be objective. Comments and critiques always welcome. Hit the jump for the review.

I know Ambition has been out for 13 days already, but I really had to let that bitch breathe. This was a big album for Wale and I wanted to judge it the best I could. You know I had to bump it in the whip to get the real feel of the record. I went back to our old style with the grades for this review so comment if you like or dislike that. Overall I think Wale put out a quality project. Was it what we all were expecting? Hit the jump and find out.

Album Review: J. Cole – Cole World: The Sideline Story

Before you dive right into the review, I want to just say that this project has meant a lot to me personally and it being released has been a long time coming. My biases are clear. I cover Cole, a lot. And I personally really enjoy his music more than most artists. I did my best to take an objective approach with his music. I let it sit for a little and really listened to every song a bunch. I analyzed and analyzed more to really get my thoughts clear. This album is crazy and it’s J. Cole at his finest. Sorry for the delay in posting the review, I had to make a few tweaks in it after hearing some small things in the music. Well without further ado, hit the jump for Uptown Soldier’s J. Cole Album Review.
